Friday Fill-Ins

1. If we had no winter, would we appreciate the spring?

2. I find the fact that my ex has a girlfriend a perpetual astonishment.

3. If I had my life to live over , I would have met and married Steven 25 years ago.

4. I will slice a boatload of cheese and meat inside of four and twenty hours.

5. If you've never been thrilled, then you've never been shoe-shopping!

6. To be interested in the changing seasons you have to live somewhere like Indiana.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to seeing Steven (yay - he's here!), tomorrow my plans include sleeping late and working the deli, and Sunday, I want to spend the day doing anything I want!

Have a great weekend!
J.

The extremes of winter I do not miss. To see the beautiful colors of Autumn one must be in the mountain communities here. Still, there are tons of evergreens.

I just do not miss the bitter cold of winter with its even more brutal wind-chill factor.

As well, I cannot bring myself to miss shoveling snow in spite of the quiet beauty of freshly fallen snow blanketing everything.

Brother Dave - Yep, wind chill and bitter cold suck. But I still like living in a place where you have 4 distinct seasons. And we never have the kind of heat you Californians face.

To each his own, right?

I enjoy the distinct seasons. The simplest way to deal with the weather is to dress for it.

Your ex is probably perpetually astonished, too.

Ah, shoe shopping. I hope you do get to spend Sunday doing absolutely anything you want.
