What is the greatest value that guides your life? Sincerity. I believe in being as sincere and honest as possible in relationships, in love, and in life. I try very hard to be all of those things.
Fill in the blank: If I could be anybody besides myself, I would be Oprah Winfrey. Not because I want to be a self-adoring black woman, but I wish I had her money and her status to change the world.
What is one item in your house that you should really throw out but probably never will? My old worn-out chair in my bedroom. It's comfy, but it's ugly!
Our French exchange student has arrived! His name is Ke'vin, he's 12, and he's terrific! He is much more outgoing and friendly than our girl last year. And his English is better, too! We have already had a terrific time together. He has really bonded with Daniel. Actually, when we met him, Rachael and I said, "He's so like Daniel!". We had a video chat via MSN messenger with Kevin's mother, father, and brother from France on Sunday. I don't have a webcam, so they could only hear us, but we could see them. It was really neat! He was thrilled to pick out a pumpkin, and fell in love with fried biscuits and apple butter at the country restaurant we took him to on Sunday.
Other good news: my parents came home from Switzerland on Wednesday. AND, Steven was here Saturday afternoon until this morning. We had a very good time just being together. I really love that man! He is so good to me! I have come down with a terrible head cold, and he took care of me all day Sunday!
All is well, except for my cold!
Happy Monday, all!
PS. I'm on FACEBOOK now! If you want to "be my friend", you'll have to e-mail me at Special.firstname.lastname@example.org to get my "real" name!
