It's Manic Monday time again:What sound or noise do you love? My kids' laughing, the sound of my cell phone with Steven's ring.
What sound or noise do you hate? A dentist's drill.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Journalism, or anything to do with promoting children's literacy. If I could make enough money at it, I would be very happy working in a bookstore. Of course, I would never take home a paycheck........
What profession would you not like to do? Garbage collector.
That's all for today, folks. We are in Pueblo, Colorado loading and then headed for Brewster, Minnesota. After that, who knows? I am working on a Flikr account so I can upload all my trip pics.

I'm totally with you on working in a bookstore. But sadly I wouldn't come home with a paycheck either. I can't walk into a bookstore without getting something.

When e.craig and I were just little tykes, I recall the garbage collectors who got to stand on the back of the truck as it rolled up to our place.
Once the collection cans were emptied into the truck, the collectors hopped back on, and rolled away. What fun they must have been having.
I knew right then and there I wanted to be a garbage collector when I grew up.
