Saturday Special

We are SNOWED IN here! 8.5 inches officially in Louisville! Luckily my favorite trucker made it here in the middle of the night, through the snow and sleet, to be snowed in with me. So we've been taking it easy today. The two younger boys are in Indianapolis with their dad, so it's just the two of us and the two teens (who are thrilled, believe me, to be hanging out with us!).

Laying around watching "Ice Road Truckers" and now "The Water Boy" (funny, but weird) has left me less than motivated for serious blogging. So here is this week's Saturday Special, courtesy of Toni:

~What's Your Favorite?...~

1. Favorite Time Of Day? It depends on what we're talking about. My favorite time of day overall is in the morning. I am the most perky and alert in the morning. I love to get up early and get things done. But my favorite time for relaxing and "me" time is after 10. That's when I can kick back, read some blogs, watch TV or a movie, or talk on the phone. It's personal time.

2. Favorite Day Of The Week? Oh baby, it's Friday. Things are more relaxed at work and we're heading into the weekend!

3. Favorite Month Of The Year? It's a toss-up. June, because school is out and it's the start of summer. Or December, because of Christmas.

4. Favorite Type Of Weather? Warm and sunny, with a nice breeze. And oh, I can't wait!

That's all for today.

Stay warm!

What a coincidence. I was watching "Ice Road Truckers" until Nancy asked me to peel the spuds for dinner.

Anyway .. that TV show is a lot better than watching a bunch of air head females trying to "outcat" each other to win the heart of some handsome prince.

The weather dude was in full panic Thursday morning trying to scare everybody into thinking we were going to get the snowstorm of the century here. We got maybe 4 inches and the roads were never covered by snow, they just stayed wet. I sure wish weather people were paid on a scale that was consistent with how often they are right. ;-)

Being snowed in. You all seem to get so much snow still, where ever I read.

For years I used to complain about the lack of snow. I live down south and we don't get it. After reading blog after blog of being snowed in, I guess I should watch what I ask for. I love the warmer temps. But I sure do think y'alls snow is mighty pretty! :)

Craig - I love "Ice Road Truckers". And yes, it is MUCH better than most reality shows.

Truckindog - Okay, rub it in, why don't you?

Truckers is NOT the devil mama! What the heck is this supposed to mean?

Jay - The weather guys went crazy here, too, but they were right. We got 10 inches. The only problem is, everyone went into a panic Saturday morning and cancelled everything, and by Sunday most of it has melted off.

R.E.H. - Honestly this is unusual for March. But it WAS fun to have a big snow.

Tookie Tail - It was a beautiful snow, and fun to see it coming down hour after hour. I'm glad we've had a couple for this year. The boys sure had fun playing in the snow and tromping around, and the neighbors made a HUGE snowman. NOW, I'm ready for spring.

Clearly you did not really pay any attention to The Waterboy!

Vicky is not the devil mama, I like her and she likes me and she even showed me her boobies and I like them too!

Best line in the whole movie.
