Workout

The PE teacher at our school is awesome! She is as interested in the health and wellness of the teachers as she is the students. She's the one who got us all hooked on pedometers. A couple weeks ago, she started "Fitness Fridays". She puts a 3-mile "Walk Off Your Belly Flat" DVD on, projects it up on the gym wall super-big, turns up the music, turns off the lights, and anyone interested can work out for about 45 minutes. I stayed today and it was great. Of course, I'm going to hurt tomorrow, but it was fun.

I've really been having fun with Aaron's "Wii Fit Plus". We all have. I really like the step aerobics routines. I'm thinking about getting a real one, with an adjustable step.

What have you all been doing, excercise-wise?

I bought a treadmill a couple of days ago. Did 30 minutes yesterday. Nada today - had to work late. Gonna put in some miles tomorrow though!

Also, at the Health Fair last weekend, I got a free week of VIP membership at a women-only gym. I have an appointment next Tuesday to go get oriented.

Oooh, a treadmill. I'm jealous. I used to love those at the gym.

I have been working my butt off at the gym for an hour and a half for the last month and a half. I hope it works! Good for you for getting active, that is the hardest step, just getting going.

Ummmm.....walking on the beach? I admit I have been very lazy and I am getting fat! My bad!

Pilates once a week with my best friend. We're not very good but at least we keep at it and I figure working on a strong core is the best thing an old woman can do.

The batteries went dead on the remote so I had to get up and change the TV channel. It was exhausting.
