10 Things You Don't Know About Me:
1. I hate pickles.
2. I am having lunch with my college roommate at the end of the month. We haven't seen each other in 20 years.
3. My brother is getting married in June. In Alaska.
4. My daughter is seriously considering going to Ball State University, in Muncie, where I went to college AND my dad went to college.
5. I met Jim Davis, the guy who draws Garfield, in college - he lives in Muncie.
6. I read Under The Dome by Stephen King over Christmas, and now I'm reading The Stand.
7. I've always wanted a yorkshire terrier. I think they're adorable.
8. My dad is the second youngest of 11 kids. His oldest brother, who is in his 90s, is still living.
9. I am considering getting my certification to teach something else. Possibilities include: ESL, mild mentally handicapped (Downs Syndrome kids), or English.
10. I am getting a LOT of gray hair. I keep it dyed, but it's shocking to me when my real hair color starts to grow in. Yikes!!!
Gotta go!

1. I hate pickles too. In fact, my intense hatred of them inspired the Burger King jingle "... Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce...".
2. COOL!
3. I guess that means you're not coming to Florida this summer...
4. That's neat. Family tradition.
5. I ran into the voice of Eeyore last year!
6. I LOVE "The Stand". It's my stranded-on-a-desert-island-and- can-only-have-one-book book.
7. I interacted with one on Saturday and fell in love.
8. I will be the "oldest brother" one day...
9. Good for you!
10. Me too. I don't color my hair though. I've decided to embrace my gray and hope that it turns silver.
"The Stand" is one of my favorite books. I think that, someday, when Stephen KIng's works are taught in college, this book will stand out as his magnum opus.
I LOVE PICKLES!
Sayre - I'm not going to Alaska, unfortunately. It's just him and her. We're having a reception for them when they get back. My mom is miffed, but he's 43...he can do what he wants. As for Florida this summer....you bet!
Dave - Well, I'm glad I picked a good one.
Karisma - But you seem so nice otherwise....ha, ha.

Yay!!!! We'll be here!
I love the Stand and I agree with Sayre. I would take that on a desert island.
Too bad you're not going to Alaska. It woulda been cool...or cold?
I didn't know you had a lot of colored hair?
I'm shocked!
Everybody - Well, I'm glad to hear "The Stand" is good to read. At first I had a hard time getting into it, but it's growing on me.
As for Mr. Anonymous, you have been dealt with regarding the hair color comment. Just for that, you can pay for the NEXT visit to the salon!
