A few days ago, my dad woke up and was so weak and dizzy, my mom had to help him to the couch. Because my dad is diabetic, they just assumed it was extremely low blood sugar, since he had forgotten to have his late night snack the night before. He had a couple more mild dizzy spells, so he went to the doctor today to get checked out.
The doctor said that big dizzy spell may have been a minor stroke. He wanted him to check into the hospital overnight to have a bunch of tests run. So that's where he is tonight - at the hospital.
My dad is 76 and in the last couple of years has gotten more "fragile". I mean, he's not frail and helpless - he drives, takes care of Aaron, helps out, keeps busy. But I'm kind of worried.
I talked to him tonight and he sounded fine. The doctors have more tests scheduled for in the morning, and then they will tell what's next.
Just please keep him in your prayers. I'll let you know how it's going.
J.

Prayers on the way! Hope everything is okay...hugs and smoochies xoxoxox
Your Dad is in my prayers.
Having this early start will get the jump on things. Whatever is the matter can be managed.
He is in the best place to be watched and cared for. Prayers continuing.
Hope he's doing okay. Sending good thoughts and prayers his way!
oh J! I am so sorry, you are in our prayers. It's hard to see your "invincible" parents grow frail.
Good thing they jumped right on it. I will keep him in my prayers.
Saying prayers. xo
does he take an aspirin everyday? Not that I'm a doctor or anything but...
I'll be sure to pray for him!
