Manic Monday

Hey, it's Manic Monday time, hosted by the lovely Lisa! I haven't had the time/made the time to do one of these in a LONG time, so.....since I'm off today and allowing myself some veggie time between chores, I thought I would jump back in.

What do you do to make yourself feel better when you are sick? I put on my jammies and my robe. I get in my bed, even if I'm not going to sleep. I get something warm to drink.

What is the most amazing weather you've ever seen? I would have to say the wind storm that swept through here in October in the path of Hurricane Ike. It is hard to express how strong wind can be until you've seen the destruction that we had here - without a tornado.

Do you listen to music or talk radio in the car? Music. Talk radio generally gets on my nerves. But I have been getting into listening to "podcasts", which is something like talk radio.

DON'T FORGET! I wrote a long and interesting post just yesterday, so be sure to check below when you're done here. I wouldn't want you to miss it! (grin)

Have a happy Monday!
J.

Hurricanes are an awesome sight to behold. The shear force of the winds are amazing!

This has been a "kick back" holiday for me.

Did minimal chores and still have a little laundry to fold and put away.

No day off for me. I was still babysitting. LOL
Oh Lordy. talk about hurricane winds. Something I've had to deal with my whole life. Almost makes me wanna leave the Gulf Coast but I figure everyone has some sort of weather condition they have to deal with.

I love sitting with something warm to drink and hanging out with my jammies on....whether I am sick or not!

I'm with you on talk radio. Sometimes it totally grates on my nerves.

So somehow or another I totally missed your blogging comeback. I'm glad your back. I've missed you and I'm glad to see you're posting again. I kind of took a semi-break from it as well but am now trying to post more regularly. I look forward to checking back in with you!!

Hi Babe. I've been trying to send you an email, but I'm on snail speed and my system wont load the yahoo page. (too many scripts and my aircard times itself out.)
And.....I have no signal on our phone, but I'm headed out to a mountain top somewhere to find some signal.
Later Trouble.
