Oh my God, what a week! Last Wednesday was Daniel's last football game. Friday night I worked the gate at the football game. Saturday afternoon Steven rolled into town, Saturday night we went out to celebrate a year together, and Sunday Joseph and "The Singing Hoosiers" came to Providence to perform! It has been awesome and I am exhausted! Here are some pictures:Daniel finished the season having played 3 good games, and with the thanks of his coach for keeping at it. All the coaches said, "We wish we could have had you all year!" I was really proud of him!

HERE is the proof in pictures that Steven and I "tied one on" Saturday night. We went to dinner, and then to a bar called "Howl at the Moon" at Louisville's 4th Street Live. It featured a duo of piano players, who play off each other with a back-up band, and took requests. In the spirit of celebration (and a little bit of "what the hell"), we tried one of these test-tube shots. The one we tried was called....um....."Hot Wet Pussy" and contained vodka and triple sec. I am NOT really a drinker, but this was really good. And fun. But since I couldn't down my first one in one try, I begged Steven to try another one. So we did! Since I had already had a large, fruity drink before the shots, I of course followed them up with a rum and Diet Coke. Let's just say Steven had to drive us home. I was a little fuzzy. Hee, hee.
Oh yeah....and it's Manic Monday time again:
How long does it take you to get out of bed in the morning? Most mornings I get right up. Today I was persuaded to stay in a little longer. (wink)
Do you usually sleep on one side of the bed or another? Yes, the left. Although after Steven has been here, I tend to drift over to "his" side, thinking of him.
Something you wish to accomplish before the end of the year: I hope to lose 24 more pounds before January 1.
