A Day of Fun

I took Aaron and Rachael to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom today and man, am I tired! Here are the pictures I took of our day:

Aaron won this hat playing a game. We told him it was a "root beer" hat. Right?

We all got "tattoos": Aaron's is airbrushed - a soccer ball with flames! Rachael and I got henna tattoos, which last a little longer. Mine is the Chinese symbol for love and Rachael got "Alpha" on one ankle and "Omega" on the other. Kind of neat.

Doesn't Rachael look pretty on the merry-go-round?

This is me looking hot and ragged. And at the bottom is the damn pirate ship ride that kicked my ass. I had to close my eyes just to make it to the end. Ugh. Too much "swinging".

Allin all, a long, hot day but lots of fun. Aaron was so funny, riding roller coasters, and Rachael was great company.
Now I'm going to bed. I'm beat!

Fun times!

I've never been to a Six Flags. I'm not big on so many of those rides. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna die on them. LOL

I absolutely adore six flags!

The pirate ship things are my favorite rides, to be honest, although roller coasters are a close second!

Rachel does look pretty on the merry go round, and I'm loving that picture of Aaron with.. Wile E Coyote?

Attention all photo gawkers, please direct your attention to the pic of J sans makeup.
I actually prefer the aux naturel look. Usually when I see J, she has some sort of "face" on.
Hee Hee. I'm just teasing you sweetie.
I'm glad ya'll had a good time. I'm even more pleased that you came in under budget.
(sorry, private joke peeps.)
Slumber softly + heavily my love.

Awe, you know; that's the same look you gave me when you saw me + when I left.
I absolutely adore your loving eyes sweetheart.
They move my soul.

looks like a lot of fun. We have an amusment park here about an hour and a half away, it will be nice when we can go on more than kiddie land rides and the water park. Of course right now it's just really hot and boring since I can't go on any rides.

Jay - It WAS fun. Thank God for Rachael, though. She did the "wild ride" and the "let's ride it again and again" duty for me. After that pirate ship I was not up for any motion!

Shen-shen - I'm pretty sure it's an age thing. I used to love all that stuff- the wilder, the better. But now I just can't take it.

Sexy trucker - Okay, enough teasing about the makeup. (smile) As for the budget, I was inspired to prove myself. You're a great motivator. I love the way you look at me, too. Come back soon and look at me again. Kissing you!

Superwoman - Yeah, we had a good time. And you're right...there's nothing fun about an amusement park when you're pregnant. Send them with Sushiboy and you stay home with your feet up!

I too cannot do the roller coaster any more (one of my very favorites). And I have never tolerated rocking and spinning.

You certainly constantly do lots of wonderful things with your family.

Looks like y'all had a great time. Well done.

Isn't that the one where that little girl got her feet ripped off? Our family goes to the Universal Studios down here. Nothing like a day of family fun to make the summer sweeter!

I'm afraid these places are wasted on me now. I can't really do the "go high, drop low" rides and you can only ride "It's a Small World" so many times. Glad you had a good time.

PS - Are you sure that is the Chinese symbol for love and not something nasty? Those tattoo people are not to be trusted.
