Manic Monday

Okay, I'm done with my pity party. I still don't feel too good about things, but I'm not crying in my beer anymore either. So, to get back to today's originally scheduled post, it's time for "Manic Monday":

Every person you have ever slept with is invited to a banquet where you are the guest of honor. No one will be in attendance except you, the collection of your former lovers, and the catering service. After the meal, you are asked to give a fifteen-minute speech to the assembly.
What do you talk about? Holy shit, what am I supposed to do say to all those guys?

Just kidding, there wouldn't be that many guys there. I guess, with the exception of my ex-husband and a couple of guys who basically lied to me to get what they wanted, I would thank most of them for caring about me. And I would thank most of them for helping me to grow and learn to become the person I am today. Hell, I don't really know what I would say.
Maybe I could get everyone to gang up and beat the crap out of my ex-husband....hee, hee.

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Watch movies and bake something, or order pizza. Stay home. Go back to bed, preferably with my lover. Read.

Are you a window person or an aisle person? Why? Well, I used to be a window person, because I loved to look at the land as it got smaller, and the clouds. But since I flew home from Texas and I was on those really small commuter planes, which made me feel like the cabin was closing in on me, I am now definitely an aisle person. There's more space on the aisle. And more room to breathe.

That's all for now.

Have a good evening.

J.

I think that first question is brilliant, but I have no idea (yet) what my answer is.

I am not touching that first question with a 10-foot pole. I can tell you that 1 is dead and 2 are missing. I live with the other one. And he already knows EVERYTHING on my mind!

Rainy days are made for cocoa, blankets and books if it's cold; iced tea, back porches, rocking chairs and... books if it's not.

Used to be window, but now am aisle - getting in and out is a lot easier!

Sorry to hear that Monday was such a nasty day for you... everyone has a day like that every now and then. I suppose if you're looking for a silver lining on the AC thing, you'll get better gas mileage without it! I'm trying to live without mine as much as possible but these darn hot flashes can make that really uncomfortable...

Poppy - That first question is a frightening one....and I still have no idea what I would say.

Sayre - The jury is still out on whether today will be better than yesterday. Thanks for the kind words.

Jay - I am an evil bitch of an ex-wife sometimes, aren't I? Hee, hee. As for the used parts, we thought of that. I may be looking into that today.
