Another Tuesday........

I was trolling around the Internet and I found THIS about Starbuck's over at Poppy's. I thought it was hilarious! My son, who is now a high school graduate, will be returning to gainful employment at Starbuck's next week.

Today was my last official day of school, a work day. It wasn't especially hard, but it was long. Lots and lots and lots of paperwork! Ugh! If there's one thing special education excels at, it's paperwork. I LOVE writing reports, organizing progress data, and filling out progress reports. Really I do. I didn't get my room completely packed up, so I will have to go back tomorrow. Fun, fun!

It's a pretty peaceful evening here. Joseph went out with some friends, Rachael is at play practice, and Daniel is spending the night at a friend's house. It's just me and Aaron. He is watching the first Star Wars movie.....well, what I call the first Star Wars movie. I guess technically it's the fourth one.

Anyway, I have to make a plan for the summer. Aaron, Daniel and I want to go to the gym together, to keep up Aaron's 3 times a week with his trainer. Aaron starts swimming lessons next week. Joseph is starting back to work, and hopefully Rachael will be, too, soon. And I must keep Daniel and Aaron away from endless hours in front of the video games and the TV. And I have to figure out when they will be visiting their dad, so maybe I can have some time on the road with Steven.

That's all for now. Hope you are having a great week.

Haha, I've seen the Starbucks thing before! I'm thinking of working there too.

And.. What is summer for BUT endless hours in front of video games and TV?!

T-dog - I gave myself detention! I didn't get my work done in a timely manner. But I got it all done today.

By the way, I'm following you, too, now. Hee, hee.

Shen-Shen - I realize from their (and your) perspectives that summer is for endless hours of video games and TV. But what kind of a teacher would I be if I didn't encourage them to read? And exercise?

Brother Dave - We are rarely bored.

C-flake - I would sooo love to tell them that. And believe me, they would do it, too.

True, true.. I think after a while video games and TV do become boring though, haha.

And good books = staying up all night reading. So all you need are good books!

Can't comment on exercise though, I'm not a fan!

My week is going well, I've had the entire week off as some random extension of memorial day weekend, so tomorrow will be my first day of school in 6 days :(

How are you? :)

Reading. Thats how I spent my summers. It was the best thing my mom could have done for me. I'll always remember the summer when I read the Wizard of Oz series.
