Happy Leap Day

As you all know, today is February 29 -Leap Day!
We won't have another day like this for 4 years. Which got me to thinking: where will I be in 4 years?

In 4 years, I will be almost 48. Yikes. Joseph will be almost 22, hopefully just about to graduate from college. Rachael will be 20 and in college. Daniel will be almost 18, finishing his junior year of high school. And Aaron will be 12, finishing his 6th grade year. Family life will be different.

What else will I be doing? I'm sure I will be still be teaching. I hope I will be settled down in a loving, committed relationship with a man who loves me (I have one particular man in mind....). I hope to be happy and satisfied in my personal life. I want to be physically fit and exercising regularly.

What can be accomplished in 4 years of your life?

Where will you be and what will you be doing in 4 years from today?

Four years - a lot can change in four years! I never dreamed I'd be where I am now four years ago. My son will be almost 13 and entering the terrible teen years (not TOO terrible, I hope). Perhaps we will be out of debt except for the house. But I don't really know. I'll be turning 50 in the next month - and I'll be the best 50 year old I can possibly be!

w0w… Four years? hmmm…

It is difficult to imagine all the changes that might occur. At the end of 3 years Shirley and I will likely be retired.

If I choose to stay employed, then Shirley will retire anyway.

Should I pass within the next 2 years I shall drop my 4-yr plan.

Sayre - It's hard to imagine being out of debt. Z-boy is only 9? For some reason I thought he was older. 13 isn't so bad....16 and 17 is, though!

C.Flake - I feel ya, sister! Hang in there. I bet things will be terrific for both of us in 4 years!

Brother Dave - Please don't pass away in 2 years. Or 4. Shirley would miss you, and so would I! (smile)

Four years from now I hope to be the "picture of health." Diet and exercise .. and just enough cheating to keep it from getting old. I also want to do some organic gardening.
