When people say Christmas you immediately think...my children, presents, lights, trees, fun!
Favorite Christmas Memory...The year I thought Santa Claus really did come to visit me. It was really a neighbor dressed up, but I believed it!
Favorite Christmas song/carol...Charlie Brown Christmas music. All of it.
Christmas movie...It's a 3-way tie: "The Muppets' Christmas Carol", or "The Holiday" (Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Jack Black. Totally a chick flick), or "Holiday Inn".
Favorite Christmas character... Santa Claus, of course!
Favorite Christmas ornament or object...All 4 of my children attended the same preschool over the years, and each time they were in the "3 yr old" group, they made a picture ornament taken on "Mother's Night"(the night the moms came to a special program just for them put on by the kids). I have the ornament made by each of them, with me holding them on my lap at age 3. They are priceless.
Plans for Christmas...Christmas Eve mass at 4. Afterwards, up to my parents' house for a huge dinner and presents! Christmas Day - up with Aaron to open presents, then back to sleep or laying around. Lunch time, back up to my parents' for more food!
Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Oh yes.
Love you all!

Stay out of trouble! ;-)
Merry Christmas to you and yours, J.
OK J, here are mine:
When people say Christmas you immediately think: Poinsettia plants on the alter at church
Favorite Christmas Memory: When my dad told me Santa Claus was in the sky flying and tried to show me out my bedroom window. I went RIGHT to sleep because I didn't want Santa to skip us if was still awake!
Favorite Christmas song/carol: The Christmas Song ("chestnuts roasting...")
Christmas movie: "miracle on 34th street" hands down!
Favorite Christmas character: Frosty the snowman
Favorite Christmas ornament or object: My childhood stocking
Plans for Christmas: Christmas Eve mass, dinner, then Christmas day dinner with friends.
Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Well as an adult I think I prefer Easter for the religious aspect of it.
Jay - Me? Get into trouble? Nah!
RWA - Thanks. You, too.
Rick - Good answers. Merry Christmas.
J.
I'm a big fan of "Miracle on 34th Street" also. We always do Midnight Mass just because we think it's cool to go to church at midnight. It also takes the pressure off for the rest of Christmas Day. My daughter was a professional ballet dancer until she injured her ankle(she has a degree in marine biology, thank goodness). Every year, the cast of "The Nutcracker" would make ornaments for each other, usually little apples with the date and year on them. These are as precious as gold to me
Just Dave - I love midnight mass, too. We go to the children's mass on Christmas Eve because usually one or more of the kids are in it! And it leaves Christmas Day wide open for presents, eating, napping, and more eating!
Merry Christmas.
J.
Happy Holidays!
