Day 10 - Randomness

Hey howdy hey cowpokes.....

Sorry, I was channeling "Woody" from Toy Story there for a second...

It's a busy Saturday, so I am once again going for the quick and easy. This is a cool blog I found with random memes on it.

Well, let's answer a few of lifes important questions.
Just post whatever comes into your mind first.

1. What's your view on peanut butter?
Do you like it or is it just plain gross?

I love peanut butter, both creamy and smooth. But not the cheap stuff, the really good stuff!

2. Aerobic exercising: good for you, or a tool of the devil?

I don't like "aerobics" per se. I DO like working out on the treadmill. But Lord, I can not stand Jazzercise! Too much "whooping"!

3. Hanging out at the bookstore, is it nerdy or a fun time?
I love hanging out in bookstores. I don't care if it's nerdy.

4. Should your socks always match? should you wear socks at all?

You should always wear socks, unless you have flipflops or sandals on. And yes, they should match.

5. Is MySpace a great invention or just plain overrated?

I personally think it's overrated, but then I'm not on Myspace. I like blogging.

That's it for today....

And don't forget those annoying perky little aerobic instructors! They're so happy and positive all the time. It's just disgusting. LOL

I love the crunchy [nutty] kind, and it has to be natural. Both Knott's and Laura Scudders has no hydrogenated oil, nor any high fructose corn syrup.

Natural, nutty peanut butter by itself is good. Or on a slice of whole-multi-grain bread with or without strawberry preserves is fine. Substituting the preserves with orange marmelaide is yummy too.

2. Aerobic exercising: good for you, or a tool of the devil?

I would never consider "aerobics" a tool of the devil. Nonetheless, brisk walking is about as energetic as I wish to get. I need to do the walking more often.

3. Hanging out at the bookstore, is it nerdy or a fun time?

It's a bit nerdy, but a nice kind of nerdy. I never hang out. When I am at Nobles to make a purchase and see young people sitting and reading, I think they have formed a good habit.

4. Should your socks always match? Should you wear socks at all?

Yes, they should match (unless you are Albert Einstein). By personal preference I always wear socks. I have noted that some people do not wear socks, and I wonder how they can be comfortable without them.

5. Is MySpace a great invention or just plain overrated?

MySpace is great, in its own right. Lots of people use MySpace. Like all such venues, it is too bad that bad people with bad intentions can be found there.

Um...so a Barnes and Noble just opened up less than a mile from my house. My husband and I were counting the days until it opened. It was a big deal. And on opening day, we stood at the doorway hand in hand, stepped into our new Barnsey and breathed in all the books...it was wonderful.

How's that for nerding out??

Socks are supposed to match? What a concept! ;-)

Um - I wear socks with my sandals. And now that I have that damaged nerve in my foot, I'm looking for toe socks to wear with my croc flip flops when it's cold... Not sure what that says about me.

I agree with you about the bookstore and myspace...but not necessarily about the socks...roflmao.

I only enjoy peanut butter on white toast or saltines with no jelly and milk
