My children are more organized than I am, at least 2 of them anyway.
My 13 yr. old, Daniel, came in to wake me up at 7:00 this morning (I was just about to get up. Really.) because he was concerned we wouldn't have enough time to get to his game. It starts at 10:30. He had already eaten breakfast. When I staggered out into the living room, Joseph was already in the shower and his work clothes were in the dryer. He informed me he had early costume tryons before play practice and that his friend Taylor was coming to pick him up at 7:30.
Huh?
When did they take over?
More later when I'm coherent.

Two "self starters." That's good. Lower stress level. Maybe.
It's amazing how they can do these things when it's something they WANT to do huh? ;-)
LOL. very funny. Really J, you need to take the football game more seriously. LOL!!!
E.Craig - Self-starters on Saturday! These are the same children who have to be called on school mornings more than once.
Jay - It felt like I had entered some alternative universe, that's all. It was a little confusing.
P.S.S. - Yes, apparently I don't have the right attitude. I did manage, however, to get his uniform washed in a timely manner and drive him to the far side of Louisville by 9:15 this morning, sit in the hot stands in a navy blue (team colors) shirt from 10:30-1:00, buy him an overpriced Gatorade from the concession stand, AND take him out to lunch afterwards. So, I'm not completely a lost cause. (grin)

Thank you for reminding me how it really used to be.
E.Craig - You're welcome. Would you like me to ship one or two to you so you can have the full effect?

J - Even if it is only on a Saturday, the responsibility shown by these kids is wonderful. How special.
They are too much...they must have a great mom!! :)
J - I think I'll pass for now. ;-)
That was pretty good with Joseph, but it sounds like Daniel gets "psyched up" pretty early for his games, huh?
Brother Dave - How do I transfer that responsibility level to the week days?
Mimi - Thank you.
E.Craig - Chicken.
RWA - Ya think? (hee, hee)

Tense - I'm sorry, sweets. I actually put that up there to tease Captain Corky.
Come on over, girlfriend. I've been dying to meet you anyway! Just remember, "butt kicking"s can go both ways! (grin)
