Half-Naked Thursday....

Okay, this is it. This is all I've got for now. I was considering another shot that Baron took of me on our camping trip, but until he has time to locate it on his many picture files, this will have to do. I have put this up before, I think, but I know some of my "new" Blogger friends, such as Redneck Nerdboy and Mia, have not seen it.

THIS (see above) is my tattoo. I got it on my 41st birthday. I was going to get a little heart, right on my behind, but when I got there and saw this pic of the sunflowers, I knew I had to get it. My 2nd ex, Larry, and I were still seeing each other, post-divorce, and he had volunteered to go with me and hold my hand. It hurt a lot more than I expected, but I thought I was doing okay....until about halfway through I started to feel kind of hot and light-headed. I heard Larry say something to the tattoo guy (a young, funny kid, by the way, who had a good sense of humor about looking at my backside for almost an hour) and the tattoo guy answered, and suddenly he stopped. They had decided that I was looking "pale" and insisted I have some water until I felt a little better. Apparently I was about to pass out. But then the color came back into my face, I bent back over, and he finished up.

I'm not sorry I did it. I don't give a sh-t about what I will look like in the nursing home when I'm 90. If I'm so bad off that I'm in a nursing home at 90, will I really care what the teeny-bopper nurses aides think of my sagging butt? I don't think so. Every guy I've been with since I got it has said he thinks it's sexy. It's a view only a select few have seen in person.

So there you go, ladies and gentleman. My first Half-Naked Thursday, for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

YOU fuckin ROCK, oops did I just say that!!!!! ANyway AWESOME, I would not get a tatoo but as you can see I gt my belly button pierced... I am soooo afraid of needles. I got my belly button pierced a year after my daughter was born. I guess I did that instead of buying mom jeans. ahahaha by the way, if you have a tatoo like that you are never allowed to wear a holiday sweater again. I knew it was the quiet coffe table type that were the WILD ones

I've seen that tat before, on a very fine lady. Now I'm wondering about next Half-naked Thursday already.

That's a sign of a real woman!

I'm familiar with naked Thursday (don't ask), but half-naked Thursday's a new one. I do like to see people's tats even though I haven't got one myself.

Is posting photos of your butt a sign you're running out of ideas for the post a day challange?

Alison and Lori - Thanks for stopping by. Any friend of Mia's is a friend of mine.

Mia - Glad you like it. I have been told before, by guy friends, that I LOOK a lot more reserved than I really am, particularly when getting up close and personal.

Baron, baby - You are one of the chosen few, and if I have my way, the last! Let's make some more pics for next week.

Nerdboy - You are too cute!

Princess - I don't know if it's the sign of a "real" woman, but I think it is the sign of a woman who can relax and have a little fun once in awhile.

Yorksdevil - NO...it's Half-Naked Thursday. And I've been teased unmercifully by a couple of people who shall remain nameless(cough...Redneck and Mia) for not participating up until now. Let's see YOUR half-naked self!

Thanks for the fun, all!
J.

I was surprised at how much it hurt too. I cried when I got mine and begged the guy to stop and let me come back later and they could finish it.

I have one tattoo. I gave it to myself when I was in college with an exacto knife and some ink...

Ummmm...ya...it's kinda a weird story. ;)

Yay for recycled pictures for new bloggers! I posted my first HNT well over a year ago, and like you it was of my tattoo (and my avatar). I ran out of skin to post (hello, over 40 too!) and started to recyle. I got busted for it every week by my regulars (damn them!) so now I've stoppled... but it's great to see a bunch of new bloggers signing up for HNT... keep going girl!

?I missed the Thursday post until this afternoon. Looks like a popular post. ;)

I was taping educational shows for the kids, and one was a 'How Do They Make It' show. I was watching some this morning and they had a clip on how they tattoo. I still want one. Maybe it'll be a polynesian scalp tat over my bald head. Ha!! *ouch!* Peace.

LOL! I don't know why this post popped to the top of my reader. When opened, it contains you current blog header and is sandwiched between pictures of kids last week and reading is Fundemental. Weird. I guess the fates are trying to tell me something. ;)
