Just a quickie...heh, heh....

Well, this ISN'T my class....but I MIGHT BE this tired!
In fact, I know I am!

Sorry I haven't written since Sunday. My first 2 days were mostly good. I have one student who has had a bad episode both days. Yesterday I was very discouraged, but we have to keep trying. I am just trying to make it until Friday! My ex-husband hit a deer on the road last weekend and totalled his car, so he ISN'T taking the kids this weekend.... (Funny how HE has the option to cancel at any time for any reason, but if I tried that, I would be violating our court-ordered visitation schedule....hmmmmm.....)

Better for them, because they are tired after their first full week of school, but I have to admit I was looking forward to being alone for just a little while.....

(SIGH)

More later....

Hang in there. One more day and then the weekend! Maybe you can find a few minutes to yourself this weekend! Glad that things have went mostly well at school.

How can ou complain about being a teacher? You are with angels all day!?!

Just kidding!

It's people like you I am thankful for :)

I might have missed it -- what grade do you teach?

Both kiddos are finally in school. BabyGirl no longer gets her 1.5 hr nap, but the standard 30 nap. Uh, yeah. BEAR in the afternoon and cranky all evening.

Finally out of the classroom myself, but in doing tech now, I have tons of teachers wanting me to solve all their problems right then. Still, the freedom of no lesson plans, etc, is still a new and great feeling for me.

Good luck this year!

Oh, dear! I don't know if you like the blue collar comedy stuff, but Ron White has a hilarious bit about dear hunting. Punchline is "that's one elusive creature. Maybe you should slow the bullet down to 55 mph and put headlights and a tiny horn on it."
