Crazy Train

Things have been a little crazy lately. I mean, things are ALWAYS crazy, but more so in the last week.......

School is fine. I'm not loving it, but I'm not hating it either.

Rachael has adjusted well to college so far. She made "The Singing Hoosiers", IU's show choir. Joseph has been in it for the last 2 years - they will be in it together this year. (happy smile) Daniel is doing great in football, doing great in high school, and has a new, cute girlfriend.

Aaron, for the most part, is growing up, but he continues to have some struggles. He has anxiety over doing laps at football practice. He still has poor social skills. He DOES have a very patient and understanding teacher, and he is losing weight.

I am feeling stressed a lot lately. Steven is a good listener and a good supporter, but sometimes he is part of the stress. (sigh) I am very lucky to have him at my side.

I hope all is well with all of you out there in the blogosphere.
J.

Boy, do I hear you on the crazy. I'm starting to wonder if things will ever settle down, if I'll ever know what it's like to have FREE TIME or to relax because there isn't anything else that needs to be done. I escape for a couple of hours from time to time, but that is the extent of my non-crazy time.

It seems that there are always issues in life that can stir things up. Maybe I have become numb to some of it. Just keep on keepin' on.

If we could only get rid of the stress, this life thing would be really easy. Good luck with it. I have not been able to completely deal with it, what with being laid off after 44 years with the same company and having to live in a different city from my wife. If I can only live another 4 1/2 years, maybe I can retire.
