How I have longed for a pink iPod, how I have obsessed over one, hinted for one.....
until finally, not too long ago, I gave up the hinting and teasing. It was an unnecessary "want" in a long list of "needs".
Well, Steven was in town this weekend. He stayed until today and while we were waiting for Daniel to get done with today's football camp, he said he wanted to go to the AT&T store. We had been talking about me getting another phone, this one for Daniel to have during football season, so I thought being the sweetie he is, he was going to help me buy the extra phone.
Well, he helped me get a new phone alright. As an early birthday present, he got me one of THESE:
Yep, that's right! I got an I-PHONE! It's an I-POD and a PHONE and a computer all in one! It is amazing! Can you believe it? I was so happy and surprised. I hugged and kissed him right in the store in front of the salesman!
So now my old phone has been transferred to Daniel with a new phone number. He will share "Family Plan" minutes with Joseph and Rachael, but I wisely purchased unlimited text messaging for all 3 phones. Like it or not, teens LOVE to text.
Anyway, you would not believe what all this phone can do. It's really like a small laptop. I can look at blogs, send e-mail, get YouTube videos, watch movies, get the weather, get maps and directions, take pictures, listen to music, AND use the phone! I am having so much fun with this thing!
So here is a picture of my amazing boyfriend, who bought me something WAY BETTER than a pink iPod, taken with my new iPhone. I love you! Big hugs and kisses!
Hope you all had a terrific Monday!

PS. Today is actually Daniel's 14th birthday. He was presented with a card, some money (from me), and a Nintendo shirt from Hot Topic. His sister got him a Pez dispenser shaped like a Wii remote. And he (and the whole family) was invited to a birthday party cookout given for him by his girlfriend and her family complete with cake and ice cream and presents. We ALL had a great day! Pictures to come!

Um - does that mean you GOT ONE???
1) Not sure how I would handle it.
2) Not gonna marry again.
3) Yes. I'm already doing the healthy-type stuff, but I need to do some of that spontaneous, fun stuff!
Sayre - Yes! Sorry - I hit "publish" prematurely. Great answers, but by the time I got this post done, I decided to NOT do the Manic Monday questions. Too much else going on.

iPhones are so damn cool.
!!
How exciting!!
iPhones look sweet! And haha, good idea with the texting. Otherwise, your phone bill might end up several hundred dollars more expensive than you thought it would be.
"Like it or not, teens LOVE to text."
So does Corky.
Congrats on the IPhone. Enjoy it!
NOW the post makes sense. What a WONDERFUL present!
Wow - that I-Phone takes pretty good pictures! But I have a question (about phone/computer/texting stuff in general...) How do you SEE it? I need glasses just to find the buttons!
Happy B-Day Daniel!
Enjoy your gifts.
