The Lion King

Last night Joseph, Rachael and I went to see "The Lion King", the Broadway musical, at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. It was amazing! These were the best pictures I could find online, but really still photographs do not do this show justice. Everything about this musical is light and color and movement and music.

The actress who played "Rafiki" was awesome!

The birds were so beautiful. In the opening number, animals parade in from all sides. The elephant has six men operating it and is life-size! The giraffes are as tall as real giraffes!
It was an absolutely awesome show! If you have the opportunity to see it, please do. We were so blessed with the gift of these tickets from my parents.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Sounds like a great time. I kind of wish I had gotten tickets for it myself.

Last year, my mom, sister, aunt, cousin, and I went to Lion King. I agree, it is awesome!! The actors and the music were top notch. I just wish I could justify tickets for Tom, Ash, John, and I. Oh, well, someday!

Yea!! I really enjoyed the show and the puppeteers. It was unfortunate that my 2 fell asleep after the intermission, but they enjoyed the whole 'going out in style' thing. Glad you enjoyed it too.
