Today is my daughter Rachael's 15th birthday.
She is growing more beautiful and more confident in herself every day. I've always known she was smart. Rachael has always liked to draw....she started taking art classes when she was 5. She has her own line of homemade greeting cards, based on her cartoon creation "Puffball Comics".
She is a fantastic singer. The picture is from her first live performance of her band, Ms. Understood, at 4th Street Live in Louisville.
She gets great grades - usually straight A's. She works hard in school. Rachael participated in 3 sports last year: swimming, volleyball, and basketball. This year she's in the Providence Singers, "Rock School" through Mom's Music (her band), and theatre.
Last year, when I was sad about something, she took her 10-speed and slipped up the street to buy me a Diet Coke to cheer me up. She is kind to her brothers, most of the time, and is always thinking of others.
I love her dearly.
