Heidy-ho, it's off to a conference I go....
I am SO excited....I am leaving in a minute to go to Lexington for 2 days to a statewide Behavior conference....Hopefully this is where I'm going to get a handle on what the heck I'm going to be doing this fall...My principal paid for my conference AND a night in the Radisson! I know this kind of thing happens all the time in the business world, but it's virtually unheard of in education..I'm looking forward to it.
An up-and-down weekend with my ex....the younger kids had fun....the older kids came home Sunday in a huff. (deep sigh)
And apparently I am wrong about reaction in general to the Dixie Chicks...their new CD is sold out at Meijer's and Target....
The upside is, I finally got to hear the "CARS" soundtrack - it's a good one.
Anyway, sorry this is so short but I gotta hit the road. More tomorrow night hopefully.

I am really glad that you got to see your ex. How did it go?
Took me until tonight to get back here to check in... and you're gone!
I hope the conference goes well, you get a chance to relax (most of the conference trips work sent me on had little time for relaxation), and their designs on your time for the fall are what you're hoping they'll be.
Have a good time at the conference. I hope you get something very useful from it.
