Okay, I have figured it out: the next time I feel like packing up and moving to a cave, instead I'm going to Tibet. According to THIS article, the most remote place on Earth is Tibet, parts of which are 20 days on foot from the nearest point of civilization.
20 days away from everyone.
Now that's MY idea of a get-away.
(Can I take my iPhone?)

HoosierGirl — Yes… you can take your iPhone.
But do not expect a signal.
You can take your iPhone if you pretend it is an iPod Touch. :)
Doh, this Sushiboy, using SW's computer :)
Brother Dave - Steven says I would not last one day without my iphone. I don't know, but I don't want to find out. You're right, though....probably no cell signal in Tibet. But I could still play all my games, right?
Sushi - You are too funny, impersonating your wife! Yeah, yeah, I get it - no signal. But how will I get my mail? (hee, hee)

The Tibetan populace does not like telephones. Too many Wings and Wongs for peoples names.
The people are afraid they might wing the wong number.
Brother Dave - Major groan!!!
